Replacement Intervals in Life Care Planning

Dawn Cook’s article “Replacement Intervals in Life Care Planning” was recently published in the Fall 2020 issue of the Journal of Nurse Life Care Planning (AANCLP).  The AANCLP has been providing peer-reviewed excellence in life care planning since 2006.

This article details how to determine replacement intervals for durable medical equipment, adapted vehicles, prosthetics and service dogs.  Establishing replacement intervals for these items is a necessary step in a life care plan in order to determine the overall lifetime cost for that items.
